About Li-Chin Pan

As Principal Consultant at IdentitySafe Training, LLC, she integrates cybersecurity awareness with operational best practices to help corporations, municipalities, and individuals reduce risk exposure and enhance data protection. Under her leadership, the organization has achieved measurable reductions in security breaches through customized training and identity theft prevention initiatives.

 

Her passion for identity risk reduction education & training is driven by a 2025 Federal Trade Commission (FTC), report that estimated that 1.4M Americans were victims of identity theft that year. Further, the FTC estimates that 33% of all Americans have been victims of identity theft.  

An important part of Pan’s training method is focused on educating employees about protecting themselves from the threat of identity theft & fraud. On average, a person who is the victim of identity theft or credit fraud will spend 100 – 200 hours trying to resolve the issue. Once identity theft & fraud occur, you must be vigilant and in constant surveillance mode.  Resolving personal identity theft issues for employees decreases stressors which can lead to decreased productivity and increased turnover for their employers. Identifying Phishing, Vishing and Smishing scams assist employees in safeguarding corporate data leaks. Employee mistakes lead to 90% data breaches.
